No awards. No Galleries. No Contests. Tried most art forms including short stories, a novel, and screenplays. Learned guitar, played in a folk rock band, wrote songs, produced a 12-song music CD of original music, professional technical illustrator (of machines and systems), graphic designer/writer of company literature and advertising. Joined GVA to develop portrait painting skills and meet new people. Interesting group, with some real talent. My work is more illustrative vs. painterly. On the GVA Facebook page, I use the name Luther Rude which is an alias I use on my fishing blog fichigan dot com. There's a link to my blog next to my photo.
